my experience in Latvia

                                                                My experience in Latvia

Travelling to Latvia was truly an amazing experience, I loved everything about this trip and I am going to share a few of my favorite moments from the trip in this blog. First of all I got to meet so many amazing kids and made a lot of new friends from all over the world. I also got to go see some breathtaking places in this beautiful country while having fun with all my new friends. My favorite day of the trip was the day we went to Riga and got a tour of the old town, this town was the most beautiful town i have ever been to and I loved it. After the tour in Riga we went to a beach called Saulkrasti which was also a lot of fun.
My experience in Latvia was truly amazing and I will definitely visit this beautiful country again in the future.

A beautiful experience in Latvia

I LOVE LATVIA          馃槏

Hi! I'm M贸nica from Spain and I went to Latvia, I had a beautiful experience there, Latvia is much different as Spain, I remember that I was like "OMG there are a lot of trees and plants and forests, Lots of Green!!" hahaha. Iwas afraid about the weather, but when I arrived, the weather was like in Spain so I hadn't problems with that.

When I arrived, my latvian friend Daniels, was waiting for me, because he was my partner.

The first day, we visited the school and It was amazing because there was a lot of things.
The second day, we went to Riga, and it really seems like the city of San Francisco or Paris haha.
The third day we went to a natural park and I feel like a wilding haha

The food was good but I'll always prefer the food of Spain.

I hope to return soon.
M贸nica!!    :)                    馃榿  馃檶 馃懐

National Prides in an Amazing Latvian Context

Wonderful, amazing and  great days in our host country Latvia!
. I wouldn't  know how to express all my thankfulness to Latvian students, teachers and parents who welcomed us for five days, offering us the best of themshelves and their valuable heritage:
Incredible large forests surrounding us everywhere, lakes and nice river trips... and green, green. green places everywhere... their lovely and catchy songs and dances (everybody can dance and sing beautifully, even we were able to perform at an endearing school concert, singing and dancing traditional songs _we had learned to read the loooooooooong Latvian vowels before_ )...and green, green, green everywhere... delicious tasting of handmade food (some of it only cooked at the Summer solstice).... and green, green green everywhere.... the beautiful old Riga, the awesome National Library with its eleven floors and the Cabinet of Folksongs (UNESCO World Memory), the unexpectedly quiet and bright Baltic sea, and my favourite place, the Baltic Way, the monument on the Latvian- Estonian border, a remembrance place of a peaceful political demonstration on 23 August 1989 when two million people joined their hands across the three Baltic states, demonstrating a popular desire to be free from the Soviet rules.... and everywhere green, green, green...
...and thank you, thank you, thank you for these  blissful unforgettable days. I hope we meet  you again.

National Prides in European Context in Latvia

Although I wasn't actively participating during all three days when project was taking place in Nauk拧膿ni it was still fun to go with you all to R墨ga and show you all our prides and beautiful capital city which has been major center throughout its history since beginning. I liked your performance during the concert when you did our dances and sang our songs. It makes me proud of our heritage and that we can share it with you. Loved to meet you all as well and hope to meet you all in future.

Wonderful days in Latvia

I didn't expect such beauty and magnificent cultural heritage in Latvia.
Being so friendly welcomed in Naukseni and letting us be part of the final school celebration have added a plus to this meeting. I have enjoyed and learnt a lot of this beautiful and nice country, Latvia.  Hope to see you again

National Prides in a Europian Context

Okey... So.. blogs are not my thing, but, being grateful and appreciative towards my new friends, might be...
I am so happy that I got a chance to meet all of you and that I was able to create a somewhat unique relationship with a few of you as well. I am pretty sure that I will never forget any of you, because this was my first time taking part in such an event(or project or whatever). And still, with this being something new, I did not, even for a second, feel uncomfortable, so... thank you all for that! I am starting to miss you and I really hope that we get to meet someday again.(And so does my mom)

On the second day we visited many spectacular churches. After that we ate in an Italian restaurant. In the evening after dinner a few of us went down to Mondello beach and had a great time together.

Next day we visited Cefal煤 a beautiful town far away from Palermo. There the major of Cefal煤 welcomed us.After all that we went back to Palermo and spent some time with the family.

On the fourth day we visited Monreale which was also a beautiful place.Than we had lunch at Mondello beach and walked with the other students. In the evening we worked on padlet, after that we had our last dinner with all the students.Than there was a ceremony and after that we went back home to the family.

On the last they we visited Catania by train. In Catania we bought souvenirs and tried out different foods. In the evening we went back to Hungary by plane. In Budapest a bus was waiting for us which brought us back to Eger.

All in all it was an unforgetable experience. It was great to meet these friendly people and it was also the perfect oportunity to improve our English skills.
